Cryptid Project

 C-0017 are a group of five abnormal axolotls found on the Discoverer’s lake, on the Discoverer’s Park, Slosaint city, planet Ovhar-har.

 

 A security guard working at the Discoverer’s Park was patrolling the park at night near the lake. The park was designed to house several animals associated with medicine research back on Earth (For example: Lab Mice and Pigs). The Discoverer´s Lake is home to axolotls that live free of predators. The security guard saw a movement near the water. Drowsy from being tired the guard shined his flashlight on the lake and began investigating. After awhile he noticed a big light colored creature moving out of the water. The guard shined his flashlight on the creature which was revealed to be a 2 meters long, slightly deformed, metamorphosed leucistic axolotl. Terrified at the sight, the guard pulled his gun and shot the creature on the head. As the bullet exited the back of the creature’s head, the creature fell to the ground seemingly dead. The guard was surprised when the salamander raised his head once again while the hole on his head slowly healed. The horrified guard ran away from the salamander.

 

 The next day, while searching for abnormal creature reports that could be related with Dr. Isaac Chernobog, Agent Carlos Milnar {Gaia Rank} came across the reports of the giant salamander and after checking the veracity of the reports he traveled to Slosaint to visit the Discoverer’s Park. After arriving Agent Carlos noticed that a lot of people were still visiting the park and going for walks near the lake as if the reports of the lake monster didn’t exist. Soon the Agent realized that people believed the reports to be fake but he was determined that the creature was real, after all the park had seen its fair share of anomalous creatures since most of the animals present were descendants from animals that had their genes meddled with in laboratories back on Earth.

 

 When it was finally night, and the park closed down, Agent Carlos snuck into the park as his vigilante alter ego, Pankratios. He deactivated the cameras and motion sensors before going in. He approached the lake and, like fireflies at night, the lake was filled with lights as some axolotls were slightly fluorescent. The Agent saw a movement on the water and soon enough the giant salamander exited the lake and moved towards Carlos. The agent shot a net from his exosuit, capturing the salamander within it, but as he did two other axolotls jumped out of the waters of the lake attacking Carlos, although with little success. One of the Axolotls that attacked had claws and was of normal size, its coloration was that of the wild variation of axolotls, it had also metamorphosed like the giant salamander. The other attacker quickly returned to the waters after the attack since it still had external gills, it had sharp teeth and was of a brownish pinkish color with darker brown spots and was quite smaller than normal axolotls. Carlos quickly captured the clawed axolotl on a smaller net. With great effort he tied the giant salamander to his back to make an escape and brought the smaller clawed axolotl with him. Upon arriving to his hideout he fed the animals and requested transportation of the animals into Project custody. The two animals were taken to planet Furadhoroo to Local 05 to begin investigations.

 

 Some nights later Agent Carlos returned to the lake to find the toothed axolotl. He dove into the lake hoping to get attacked by the small critter but what he found was two firefly axolotls with glowing green tails, one was a white albino and the other a melanoid, but both axolotls had sharp spikes running down their back, the two played in the water with their external gills flowing with the water. When Carlos attempted to capture the two, the toothed axolotl finally attacked, he bit the Agent time and time again as the Agent tried to defend himself without harming the creature. The Agent was able to capture the toothed axolotl on a small container filled with water, and afterwards he captured the two spiked firefly axolotls he had seen before.

 

 Once again the Agent requested the Project to transport the creatures into their custody to further research their abnormalities and their usefulness for the Project. Like before, the Project complied and soon enough the creatures had arrived in Local 05.

 

 The axolotls were assigned aquariums on Local 05’s Lab area except for the giant salamander, nicknamed Pink, which was moved into Local 00 for Dr. Break to conduct research on the creature’s DNA. The remaining axolotls were nicknamed:

- Copper (The Toothed Axolotl);

 

- Wild (The Clawed Axolotl);

 

- Black (The white albino firefly axolotl);

 

-White (The melanistic firefly axolotl);

 

 

 Pink was assigned to be a DNA donor and the rest of the axolotls were assigned to be studied on Local 05.
