Cryptid Project

 C-0014 individuals were created by the Project based on the creature called Gargoyle.

 

 The Gargoyles were created to be guardians.

 

 The Project created six Gargoyles, four males and two females. The Gargoyles were created using the Large Flying Fox (Pteropus vampyrus) as a base as thus the Gargoyles look like human sized Flying Foxes with only a few features this species of bat lacks. These features include the tail, back limbs and coloration of fur of a grey wolf (Canis lupus lupus). The head of the Gargoyles resembles that of a wolf but with features of the flying fox. The Gargoyles do not retain the resting pose of bats (hanging upside down) and instead take a stance similar to a sitting wolf. The Gargoyles’ wing membranes are of a deep black coloration. All the Gargoyles mesure around 1,45 m long from nose to tail. Although the Gargoyles Intelligence exceeds Project War Companion Standards, they are not sentient.

 

 The Gargoyles were created to watch over Local 02 and to scare off potential intruders: animal, human or alien.

 

 The Gargoyles are currently being housed on Local 02 in pairs of two, each pair guarding one of the 3 entrances of Local 02.

 

 The Gargoyles are omnivores and hunt on their own on the dense forest surrounding Local 02.

 

 The Gargoyles were assigned to Darius Smithson {Gaia Rank} by his request.

 

 The Gargoyles were gestated on mammalian incubation machines all at relatively the same time.

 

 The Gargoyles are assigned to gate keeping Local 02.
