Cryptid Project

 C-0007 was created by the Project with the Kasai Rex cryptid as inspiration.

 

 The Kasai Rex was created to be deployed on a battle field and be able to destroy as much of the enemies weapons and soldiers as possible.

 

 The Project created one male Kasai Rex. The Kasai Rex mostly resembles a giant Komodo Dragon (Varanus komodoensis). The cryptid is still a juvenile and already has reached 9,1 m from nose to the tip of the tail, and 1.5 meters tall at the shoulder. The Kasai Rex’s scales are darker in color than a Komodo Dragon’s, while the underside of its body is slightly lighter. The Kasai Rex also has yellowish stripes covering the top side of his body. The Kasai Rex has a higher intelligence than other reptiles but it is not very high not even reaching Project War Companion Intelligence Standards, since he does not require a lot of training.

 

 The Kasai Rex was created to deal major damage to enemy armies or to distract them for long enough, accordingly the Project made sure that its scales would be almost indestructible to spare the Kasai Rex from a lot of damage. The Kasai Rex is also able to produce the same type of venom as a Komodo Dragon, with the same effects (blood clotting, etc), but it is of little help since Kasai Rex is able to easily kill almost any enemy of human size and even above, with just the strength of its powerful jaw.

 

 The Kasai Rex is being housed on Local 01 on a circular enclosure with 1000 m of diameter and covered by a glass dome with its highest point at 20 meters tall. Revision of housing might be necessary since the Kasai Rex is still growing and isn’t expected to stop doing so any time soon.

 

 The Kasai Rex is to be fed whatever animal corpse the Project can get their hands on, including failed experiments or recently deceased Cryptids. The Kasai Rex has to be fed, as of right now, approximately 80 kg of raw meat of any kind per day.

 

 Dr.Lilly Carter {Kronos Rank} has been tasked with the security and containment of C-0007. She is to oversee any interaction with the Kasai Rex. Dr.Lilly Carter commands everything regarding C-0007 unless a Gaia Rank takes charge.

 Dr.Lilly Carter has nicknamed the Kasai Rex, Charge. The Kasai Rex has received no major training except for basic recognition of humans so that it would not confuse enemy and ally during battle.

 

 Due to the Kasai Rex’s massive size no animal was found that could lay an egg big enough for an artificial introduction of its embryo so an egg was artificially created.

 

 The Kasai Rex is assigned to Project Disaster Events ranking from 4 and up.
