Cryptid Project

 Icicle was created by the project based on Earth’s Antarctic cryptid, Ningen.

 

 The Ningen was created by the Project with the purpose of being a good underwater weapon with the added ability of surviving freezing environments.

 

 The Ningen is a male. Ningen for the most part resembles a mixture of a Thalassocnus (Giant Aquatic Sloths) with the size and estimated strength of the Megatherium (Giant Ground Sloth). The Ningen possesses white fur similar to that of a polar bear, and giant claws just like Thalassocnus and Megatherium. The Ningen is still a juvenile but is expected to hit its final estimated size (around 6m in length from head to tail) in under one year. Ningen’s intelligence is quite high being almost comparable to a 4 year old child. The Ningen is highly sociable and thus easy to train.

 

 The Ningen has the ability to withstand extremely cold environments due to its fur coat and layers of fat. The Ningen is quite capable in physical combat and is able to tear through weak metallic walls, making its containment harder.

 

 The Ningen is currently housed in Local 03 in a 150m x 55 m x 30 m terrarium/aquarium consisting of a land portion with little vegetation, and a water portion made to emulate a shallow sea environment.

 

 Unlike Megatherium and Thalassocnus, the Ningen is omnivorous, with a diet of large fish and seaweed. Every day the Ningen is to be fed with 20 kilograms of seaweed through the day, and a large fish of any species at night.

 

 The Ningen was nicknamed Icicle by Researcher Allen {Zeus Rank}, who is tasked with training of the Ningen. Researcher Allen has been training Icicle since its birth from a mammalian incubation machine. Researcher Allen and Icicle have since then developed a strong bond.

 

 The Ningen is assigned to Project Disaster Events ranking from 3 and up.
