 C-0010 individuals were created by the Project based on the creature Ratatoskr, from Norse Mythology.

 The Ratatoskrs were created to deliver written messages in the event of a loss of all electrical power.

 The Project created two females and one male. The Ratatoskrs resemble the Eastern Grey Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis) greatly,

although with a slight color variation as they have a darker shade of grey as their fur color. The Ratatoskrs also have intelligence superior to other rodents (Project War Companion Standards). The Ratatoskrs are bigger and stronger than normal Eastern Grey Squirrels, their head-and-body length is around 50 cm while their tails are around 41 cm, although the male is smaller than the two females. The Ratatoskrs also possess great night vision.

 The Ratatoskrs were created to deal with scenarios where no electric power is available and thus communications cease. Such scenarios can come from an EMP attack (Electromagnetic Pulse), a power shortage or any other reason. When in such scenarios the Ratatoskrs are to be used as last resort messengers by carrying written messages on bags specifically designed for them.

 The Ratatoskrs are now being housed in Local 05 in a 35m x 35 m x 10 m terrarium made to emulate a forest like environment, with fake trees and cultures of mushrooms of many kinds.

 The Ratatoskrs are able to feed on the mushrooms present on their terrarium but they are to be fed multiple types of nuts and small fruits every day.

 Professor Aaron Reynolds {Kronos Rank} was tasked with supervising the growth and training of the Ratatoskrs by Assistant Phoebe Blair {Zeus Rank}. The Ratatoskrs have been nicknamed:

- Peanut (The fastest of the Ratatoskrs and the youngest of the two females);

- Chestnut (The only male of the Ratatoskrs who has the darkest fur coloration making him perfect for carrying messages at night);

- Walnut (The oldest of the females and the strongest and best climber of the Ratatoskrs);

 The Ratatoskrs are being trained to recognize faces, recognize voice commands, remember key locations and carry written messages.

 All Ratatoskrs were gestated in a mammalian incubation machine, each one at a separate time.

 The Ratatoskrs are assigned to Project Disaster Events ranking from 2 and up with the added condition that no other means of communication are available for Project use.
