Cryptid Project

 C-0005 was created based on the cryptid Splinter Cat.

 

 The Splinter Cat was created by the Project with the purpose of being a war companion, not only to help relief stress of its trainer but also to protect him during battle.

 

 The Splinter Cat created by the Project is a female. The Splinter Cat greatly resembles a Leopard with large canines resembling those of a Sabertooth Cat (Smilodon fatalis). She is approximately 68 cm tall at the shoulder and its head-and-body length is around 180 cm. The Splinter Cat has dark black fur, resembling a melanistic leopard (Black Panther). The Splinter Cat’s upper canines measure up to 15 cm. The Splinter Cat’s intelligence is above its big cat counterparts (Project War Companion Intelligence Standards), being comparable to the Hodag’s and other war companions created by the Project.

 

 The Splinter Cat’s fur is significantly thicker than regular feline fur, it is quite sturdy and pointy, being able to pierce skin and it is comparable to flexible needles, much like C-0009’s fur. The Splinter Cat’s skull is also extremely sturdy and able to resist almost any impact without damaging the brain. 

 

 The Splinter cat is now being housed in Local 05 in a 40m x 20 m x 5 m terrarium made to emulate a savanna like environment, including tall grass and a few bushes.

 

 The Splinter Cat is carnivorous and is to be fed 12 kg of mutton, or gazelle meat (if in stock).

 

 The Splinter Cat was nicknamed Fang by Dr.Alina York {Zeus Rank} which has been designated as Fang’s trainer. Dr.Alina has been training Fang to be able to headbutt targets. This headbutting functions similarly to the technique Goyocephales are theorized to have used.

 

 The Splinter Cat has been gestated in a mammalian incubation machine.

 

 The Splinter Cat is assigned to Project Disaster Events ranking from 2 and up.
